about

"Virulence, ailments manifested by eruption of pimples" GG

Virulence: acute condition of the miasma. The possessed person, the invaded body... in the sonorous imaginary Elastic: cloth to stretch. Let's go back 3 decades, the Elásticos meet every Saturday, enthusiastic to assemble original repertoire (mostly bill Gonzalez) and establishing a thousand and one ways of communication, which after the sonorous, was the sarcastic hilarity of ideas and sayings: excessive ambition", thirst for triumph muletillas applied both to certain aspirational comments as to let of vainglory and lordliness, in short, the philosophy of Discos Tiradero to everything. (A pathology of similar symptoms illustrates the life of musicians in general, who only by dint of practice mold their instruments, their practice transcends to mysticism and this returns to the body as knowledge, the feeling of each record as an echo of the body and soul of the musician, the life given to an instrument, inexhaustible source of satisfactions and concerns). Virulencia illustrates the intense dynamics of the boys, their instruments argue to wind, twang and blow, each one from his own stage. The disguised guitar goes into a feverish soliloquy and with overdrawn arguments discourses and harangues, the sax snatches the microphone and takes the opportunity to get into Ornetian depths of Dadaist cut. Then come the responsories, fours in jazz jargon, driven by the tremendous bataca, here played by the scion of the proposer, Julian Gonzalez, with omnipresent energy, while the bass funky lunges, dodging his own silences. The sonspill continues, the thirst for triumph has not diminished, the pathology although virulent, does not kill, it strengthens.
