about

"The rules of free, oxymoron!" GP
Contemporary Music was nominated to the music created since the 50's of the last century and that had the characteristic of having a radical break with the tonal music and even the music generated in the first half of the 20th century. Strawinsky and the Vienna School remained in history. The Integral Serialism of Boulez and him as a promoter through the IRCAM in Paris or the meetings in Darmstadt Germany and his luminary Stokhausen, were promoters of Contemporary works that emerged from all over Europe as the new paradigm. The time goes by and the contemporary has been avoided to a school, the truth be told, the tastes of the music lovers and the musical production continue turning to the classics, that contemporary eighties push, with its new compositional techniques and of execution of the instruments, it diminished yes, but it left its mark. The heterodoxy of contemporary music welcomed musical inventors, John Cage stands out and with his works takes us to Jungian grounds, the azhar as a central asset of the work, although it has well-established procedures of execution. FREE CON TAPABOCAS is circumscribed in that Dada game with which the proposer Gonzalez harangues the elastics, the cajón and the guests (Marcos Miranda on alto clarinet), who enrich the sonorous palette. In the free the variegated sonorous load is undoubtedly apt for contemporary ears, the image is the pictorial art of Pollock and his frenetic proposal. The mask, the expectant silences, here more than ever, involve the listener, make him an accomplice.
